Lit For Life: A new chapter in sustainability

The zero-waste initiative by The Hindu Lit For Life shuns quick-fixes, and pat answers to the problem of garbage, especially plastics. It has adopted a realistic step-by-step approach towards creating a zero-waste festival, with the first small step being taken this year. With auditing and subsequent bench-marking, it expects to make longer and firmer strides in the following years.
